This one really works. No buzz, no faint, anything at all just pure DC. It’s a Precision PSU, based on IC LM723 and transistor 2N3055. It can deliver symetrical 15 volts 3 amp. and it’s dual so two symetrical PSU, it can feed two big modular synth, each one has its own XLR4 connector. Also a 10mm thick aluminium wall stops toroidal noise induction over the outputs.
Modular Madness Part 1.
This will be a new serie of pics about a Modular Synth I’m building, so the first thing… Power Supply.
PSU: +15v, -15v, 5 Amp, (in the future also +5v)
300VA Toroidal Trafo, time delay fuses one for primary, two for secondary, LM388 regulator, massive heatsink, high in rush dual switch, 10.000uf caps, 25amp rectifier bridges, all caps 105C low ESR.Outs in XLR4 with a future option of including a +5V small PSU.
Ok, this PSU doesn’t work for Modular Synths. So a new one was rebuilt from the above. See new pictures.
Modular synth is done, just more modules on the way. I’ll post more details but not that much time to do that right now. PSU still I couldn’t get exactly what I need so I am working on it. All of it is work-in-progress.

Money Mark, what a great musician!!!
This is almost a step by step Shruthi’s building.
Shruthi 1 is an hybrid analog/digital monophonic synthesizer.
This one I’ve built features the Dual SVF Filter.

LunGar312 Part II (the making) This was pure DIY job, as you can see the punched/painted graphics are not perfect :), however all the preamps sound fantastic.
Since then all our songs have been recorded using those preamps.
For instance, “A Bridge to Your Heart” was the first one recorded using those preamps.
These preamps are compatible with the API 500 series and also with any 2520 style DOA.
LunGar312 Part I (Prototyping)
These preamps are compatible with the API 500 series and were done at home using conventional tools.
